Field Repair Buckle

Field Repair Buckle

Field repair buckles from Sea to Summit, Available in 1 pin, 2 pin or threaded on both sides and Ladder lock.Ā

1 Pin & 2 pin Buckle:

The Field Repair Buckle is designed to permanently repair broken buckles with just the help of a screwdriver. All Sea to Summit dry bags feature Field Repair Buckles, from the lightest Ultra-Sil Nano dry sack to the heaviest Hydraulic dry bag. Don't let a broken buckle ruin your adventure. Be prepared and carry a Field Repair Buckle in your repair kit.

Threaded Both Sides Buckle:

Replacement buckle for waist belts and straps

The Side Release Field Repair Buckle is a replacement for the type of buckles threaded on webbing - for instance, a backpack hipbelt. The Side Release Buckles are not secured by a stainless steel pin, but are a standard style buckle suitable for applications in which adjustment is needed on both sides of the buckle.

Ladder Lock Buckle:

The Ladder Lock Field Repair Buckle is an easy-to-use and more permanent solution for broken or worn-out buckles. The clever design allows you to repair broken buckles, using only a screwdriver. And - because the buckles are secured by a stainless steel screw, there's no need (unlike temporary repair buckles) to replace them with sewn-on buckles on your return.

WHICH BUCKLE DO I NEED?

  • One-pin side release buckles replace closures found on most top-loading backpacks, daypacks, messenger bags, PFDs, bike bags etc. They have one fixed end and one ladderlock end – the ladderlock allows you to thread through a webbing strap which can then be tightened or loosened.
  • Two-pin side release buckles are a direct replacement for non-adjustable buckles, commonly found on dry bag closures and some backpack waist belts. They are not adjustable.
  • Ladder Lock Buckles are typically used on shoulder straps of packs.Ā
  • Threaded both side buckles are usually found on the waist belt of your pack.Ā
